RUN ON HOME WINS CLASSIC ROCK TRACK OF THE WEEK
Lead single 'Run on Home' from Sing Again Syren's new EP 'Time is a Trip' has secured top spot in Classic Rock Magazine's online single of the week poll.
'"I was going for Hendrix meets Page with the guitar, especially in that solo!" singer/guitarist Eliza Lee says of her role in this blistering new track from the Newcastle Upon Tyne power trio. Indeed, it's sometimes easy to forget that such legends of yore as Hendrix were young – like, properly young – when they wrote the blueprint for rock as we know it. Run On Home's mix of full-throttle classic rock and fiery energy recaptures that. Check out more on their EP Time Is A Trip. '

LIVE REVIEW: SHE DREW THE GUN, PEANESS, SING AGAIN SYREN @ RIVERSIDE, NEWCASTLE (09.11.19)
IN NARC. MAGAZINE
The gig began with stellar support from two female fronted bands, Peaness and powerful up and comers Sing Again Syren. Acting as a throwback to the incredible riff-heavy sounds of the classic rock era, Sing Again Syren were oozing style with slick, bluesy vocals and brutal crunching drums. Peaness followed this with their blend of upbeat, up-tempo, feel good tracks; their fun loving sounds and energy setting the mood for the night.
SINGLE REVIEW: SING AGAIN SYREN 'CAST AWAY'
IN FORTITUDE MAGAZINE
Having released debut single ‘Kiss The Preacher’ earlier this year, North East three-piece Sing Again Syren continue to show their credentials as rock and roll upstarts through the guitar driven new single ‘Cast Away’.
Bursting out of the blocks with hazy, in your face guitar riffs, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d been transported back to the ‘Me Decade’ of the 1970’s. Taking cues from the likes of Heart, The Runaways and Led Zeppelin, Sing Again Syren produce raucous soundscapes, menacingly pouring from every note. Led by vocalist and guitarist Eliza Lee, ‘Cast Away’ takes no prisoners for just over four breathless minutes...
LOUDER TRACK OF THE WEEK: 'CAST AWAY'
Sing Again Syren's latest single 'Cast Away' attains top spot as Louder's track of the week.
In competition with Brand new music from artists such as Freddie Mercury and Iggie Pop, Sing Again Syren's new track 'Cast Away' comfortably secures the most votes to become Louder's track of the week.
SING AGAIN SYREN: "CAST AWAY"
Oh, wow this song. The latest song from Sing Again Syren is just pure rock. "Cast Away" is being compared to other artists like Heart, The Runaways, and Babes in Toyland, and I can't say I disagree with that at all. I'd also throw in a more straightforward rock version of Sarah Shook with all the country stripped out. There's been a lot of talk about who will be the future savior of guitar driven rock. Sing Again Syren are the closest thing I've heard to rock's savior. If you have an appreciation for classic hard rock with all pretension stripped away, you really need to check out "Cast Away."

LIVE REVIEW: SING AGAIN SYREN SOCIALLY DISTANCED GIG @ TYNEBANK BREWERY NEWCASTLE
Yet just as you’re about to give up on the power of the electric guitar cable, Sing Again Syren convince you otherwise by doing exactly what they always do; playing with supreme talent and making you jealous of how much potential they have. Lining up as a modern-day Cream trio, the band’s set is filled with jazz drum patterns, funk-styled basslines and classic rock guitar. Highlight Rich Woman, with its three-minute classic rock heart, shows off the trio’s skill set; though it’s the one minute play-out which really demonstrates their impressive musicianship skills, combining popping bass parts, thrashing drums and fretboard surfing into a prodigious sound.
